Speakers, trainers and consultants from a patient/family perspective
Patients and their loved ones with lived experience of avoidable harm can play an invaluable and powerful role in supporting or leading work on patient safety. We have created this listing to make it easier for healthcare providers, regulators, or event organisers to identify suitable people to involve in their work.
The people listed here are known to, but independent of, AvMA. All of them have signed up to our Memorandum of Understanding. Have a browse through their respective experiences and what they offer, which ranges from speaking slots to providing training or consultancy. Contact them via the online contact form provided.
All arrangements or undertakings are made directly with the individuals concerned. AvMA is simply providing a platform to enable promotion of patients/family members’ role in patient safety work. Please note that AvMA can also provide training and consultancy itself, drawing on our experience of working with people affected by avoidable harm in healthcare and involving others as appropriate. Visit our Training & Consultancy section.
If you are interested in being included in this listing please contact us.
Please note these contacts are only for enquiries about training and consultancy. If you require advice regarding avoidable harm in healthcare, please see our help and advice section.
