Response to Justice Committee report on the Coroner’s Service

AvMA is pleased with the recommendations made by the Justice Committee in their report on the coroners service published on 27th May 2021.

We, along with many other organisations believe it is important that government is fully aware of the strength of support for these recommendations, and to that end we have written a collective letter to the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, Mr Robert Buckland MP making clear the number and diversity of the organisations who consider the recommendations should be adopted and supported by government.

The government’s response is due on 27th July 2021.
