‘Fundamental standards’ need to do more to protect patients and whistleblowers

AvMA’s response to the consultation on ‘Fundamental Standards’ to be regulated by the CQC from October broadly welcomes the direction of travel, but calls for amendments to allow CQC to intervene more quickly to protect patients, and measures to protect whistleblowers.  Read AvMA’s response here.
