CQC report highlights patient safety concerns

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) today publishes its State of Care report highlighting serious ongoing problems with patient safety. AvMA welcomes the report, which helps keep the spotlight firmly on the need to improve safety.

However, AvMA are asking the CQC to change its rating system so that an organisation found to be “needing improvement” on patient safety can not be rated “good” overall.
