AvMA Chair Jocelyn Cornwell Awarded MBE in New Year’s Honours

We’re delighted to share that Jocelyn Cornwell, our Chair, has been recognised in the New Year’s Honours List, published on 30 December 2024. Jocelyn has been awarded an MBE for her incredible work improving patients’ experience of care and advancing patient safety.

All of us at AvMA want to congratulate Jocelyn on this well-deserved honour. It’s a testament to her passion and dedication to making care better for everyone. Jocelyn’s commitment to improving healthcare led her to set up the Point of Care Foundation, which focuses on making health and social care more compassionate and patient-centred.

As our Chair, Jocelyn continues to inspire us all with her determination to champion patient safety, and we’re so proud to have her as part of our organisation.
