Patient Safety Congress 2018
9-10 July, Manchester Central
The Patient Safety Congress marks its 11th year in 2018 and AvMA Chief Executive Peter Walsh will be one of the speakers, talking about the importance of listening to patients and relatives.
Just as healthcare continues to evolve, so does the Congress. HSJ have revamped the event this year to ensure delegates get evidence-based learning that they can adopt in their own ward and departments.
Sessions this year have been designed with one aim – that delegates come away with tangible learning and insights to help the patients in their care. Our expert clinicians, policy makers and patient speakers will deliver challenging and inspirational sessions focused on what to do to improve care, and – vitally – how to do it.
As well as plenary discussions and debates, delegates will have five streams of in depth content to choose from – including a new stream of content in partnership with the International Society for Rapid Response Systems, who are co-locating their annual international conference with the Congress.
This year’s plenary speakers include:
- Dr Bill Kirkup
- Professor Sidney Dekker
- Professor Alison Leary
- Dr Kevin Fong
- The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP
- Keith Conradi
- NHS leaders including Sir David Dalton and Kevin McGee
Alongside all of this will be a bigger and better exhibition space with hands-on learning, networking, and the popular poster competition. Find out and book your place now.
